Gabriel Ash is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of Greenhouses, Vinehouses, Lean-to and Glasshouses. They are one of only two greenhouse companies in the world endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). Their exceptional high quality products are second to none. They appear regularly on gardening TV shows and you’ll find them exhibiting annually at some of the UK’s top gardening shows including the Chelsea Flower Show.
The Challenge
Our search marketing team of experts were challenged in upgrading a 4 year old bespoke ecommerce platform which had experienced a decline in performance across all channels, including a non ‘responsive’ greenhouse designer app. This was one of the largest lead generation tools used by the business for selling high end quality wooden greenhouses, and it had a much lower conversion rate than on desktops.
Creativity & Implementation
A bespoke blog design requirement meant we had to create a 3 in 1 unique solution which seamlessly integrated a Shopify ecommerce platform, with an integrated WordPress blog and a bespoke greenhouse designer app that performs exceptionally well across all channels and on multiple devices.
Results
Just five months after the migration in September, the sites performance overall has improved significantly.
- Ecommerce revenue has increased 22.57%
- Organic revenue has increased by 89.21%
- Ecommerce conversion rate has increased by 60.98%
- Lead generation conversion rate has increased by 75.69%
- Page load speed has decreased from 11.2 seconds to just 1.66 seconds
